that turned out a-mazing. The few times I tried the HDR photo camera the trees and other stuff was always half birght/dark as the app was stitching them together...

Thanks :)
I like HDR photography, and I think that in landscape it gives amazing result! In this case I think that HDR photo camera is the best app available for this kind of photo. Of course it needs a very steady hand! Moreover the application was updated recently with more goodies.

A photo taken of a high rise building. The tile theme seems quite apt considering the windows phone tile system.

There's also a clip of video I shot in the Grand Palace in Bangkok.
It's uploaded to a Chinese video site (not sure if you could see it):

Finally, a photo with a question.

I've tried numerous ISO and EV combinations, yet I couldn't get rid of those glares (even fire got those :( ).
What should I do?

Clean your camera lens. That's all =]

Those are some AMAZING shots. Could you post more about the lenses you used in the first 2? Have any links?
Thanks

Thanks! The first lens is this one here that has already been reviewed by WPcentral:

Review

The second shot is a Celestron 5inch telescope. This is an amateur astronomy telescope, belongs to my brother. (costs around US$1500)

NexStar 5SE Computerized Telescope [item # 11036]

I have yet to try get a shot of the moon using the small 12x lens but ill have a go on the next clear night. Anyone have anything they would like to see?

Well, I don't think I can live with this. I need to get this fixed even if it means that I get difficult customer stamp.

Left and right is way too blurry and not so sure about the middle part either. I wonder if phones from the early batches had more camera issues.

really can't judge of one picture, make some more evidence before you go back in the store shouting about warranty ^_^

That is partially caused by large aperture. I see this effect constantly on photos where there is objects on sides near point where photo is taken from. Focus plane is so narrow that it blurs edges when actual focus is in far away objects. I think it is just side effect of large aperture.

Let me guess... you uploaded that photo straight from phone to Skydrive? That also diminishes quality by great margin. Photos are so much sharper when first extracted to computer using USB-cable and after that uploaded from computer to skydrive.

Now when i think of it is more of lens problem since this effect is more present on 16:9 shots. Maybe that's why they added 6th lens to 925.

You can click it to full size (although it seems that forums will at re-encode the image so the quality decreases further). I don't see why they included wide range optics and ?ber large aperture if large parts of the image look like ****. Wide aperture should mean narrow DOF, not extremely blurry sides when shooting a wall for example.
Other examples: http://abload.de/img/wp_20130606_002a8us4.jpg (16:9, N80 version for comparison - it doesn't have perfect right bottom corner either but nothing as bad as my 920 and considering its age and the fact that it doesn't special branded optics... not too bad)
http://abload.de/img/wp_20130508_018txpmp.jpg (4:3)
Be sure to watch them at 1:1.
