Let me guess... you uploaded that photo straight from phone to Skydrive? That also diminishes quality by great margin.
No it doesn't

You can click it to full size (although it seems that forums will at re-encode the image so the quality decreases further). I don't see why they included wide range optics and ?ber large aperture if large parts of the image look like ****. Wide aperture should mean narrow DOF, not extremely blurry sides when shooting a wall for example.
Other examples: http://abload.de/img/wp_20130606_002a8us4.jpg (16:9, N80 version for comparison - it doesn't have perfect right bottom corner either but nothing as bad as my 920 and considering its age and the fact that it doesn't special branded optics... not too bad)

Be sure to watch them at 1:1.
Can't do that since they do not have Lumia 920. The image above is is way sharper everywhere than what my Lumia can do. There's something in the lense that causes halos that make the left part of the image soft/blurry/smudgy. It's not as apparent in low light situations and when taking macro shots but in some cases it completely ruins the image. I think the right side blurriness just strengthens my believe that the lens has some kind of defects.have You had a chance to compare to another L920? There's an above zero probability, that Your unit is straight forward faulty. A friend of mine is also complaining, that his yellow L920 doesn't shoot as well as mine (though I blame the user actually).
Too bad we can't play Vimeo videos on our phones :/
