Pictures/Videos taken with your 920!

Well, today I've seen how lumia is capable, my friend didn't believe about 920's camera, he said it was just marketing, we took 2 pictures with my cellphone (lumia 920) and his (iphone 5) in the middle of the sun..

know who wins? lumia 920, by far, colors so much more vivid and details in the pictures, he was impressed and looked at his cellphone as it was ... hahaha, lumia wins, again.
More details in the pictures than the iPhone 5? Ha, that was a good one.

my wife and I constantly compare photos taken with my L920 vs her iP5 and she even agrees the Lumia wins every single time...Every single time. I was shocked about this to be honest BC I also thought it was all marketing. *hugs 920*

I own both phones and compare them constantly and the Lumia loses at a ratio of 100%. The loss of detail on the Lumia is way too high ...good for facebook and forums but that's it.

do you mind sharing photos that you've been comparing constantly?

Hi guys,

been following quite some topics on these forums for a while but now I finally have my 920 since yesterday and I must say I'm quite impressed!
shot these at the zoo:

Sure it can, but iPhone vs. 920 has been discussed up and down. Sometimes I find my friends iPhone 5 to do better, sometimes it doesn't. Especially when it comes to low light photos. It depends on the person holding the phone, light, how steady you hold the phone, how the phone measures at the exact moment, and so on.. in the daily life it's almost impossible to actually compare photos like that in a fair way.

IMO it's great that phones now days take good pictures (but still not superb either way, besides the 808) and we as consumers should be happy about that either way. But for now, let's keep this thread filled with photos...not discussions :)

loss of detail? 100% of the time? hmmmm...well i guess we're experiencing the photo taking in different ways. It's not that the iP5 takes bad pictures, they look great...but when we both take pictures almost always L920 wins. But then again, we are comparing side to side on the phones themselves, not loading them up on a PC screen and zooming in and measuring the pixel density. To each their own i guess, im not saying the 920 is the greatest thing ever...but i am impressed, this coming from a person who never cared about taking photos (had a GS3, Focus and iP3G prior)/
