Pictures/Videos taken with your 920!

what settings are you guys using gor low light. My pictures are coming out darkhttps://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=594463A9FC992CE7!307&authkey=!AMzz2QRQudINlPg

How come no light came out better?

I'm not a photo guy or expert, but here's my guess. The one taken with the flash on had adequate lighting and probably a shorter exposure time. The lighting created by the flash is non-uniform. You can see there's more lighting towards the bike, and less lighting behind the bike and towards the wall. The one taken without the flash probably had a longer exposure time, which allowed a more uniform light to come through. I'm sure there's much more to it, but I was pleasantly surprised how in some cases it's better to have the flash off. I've seen this in a few other shots as well. In other times, having the flash on works better.

I do live out in the 'country' of Michigan on a farm with 80+ acres of land with neighbors (across the street, that is one of their barns) with over 200+ acres of land...

Good thing I don't farm that - I just live here and get to see the soy, corn, and wheat grow :).

I know exactly where Mason is.

I have lived in Ann Arbor, just south of you... and wayyyy up at the top of the hand's index.. in Alpena.

I'll have to post up some videos. The video recording in 1080p is super high quality, waaaaay better than expected. I've even had comments from android users stating at how awesome the audio quality of the recording was.

Love this camera, I take pictures all the time and here are a few of my best and favorite ones. First 5 pics are the only ones that are edited with creative studio.

Some of these photos are really good, mostly the close ups but then some are really dull and hazy. Not sure I would want to use this camera if I can't be assured of good quality pics at least 90% of the time. Don't understand why the camera is a major selling point for this phone.

Your first picture is worthy of an award, reminds me of pics of the Arizona desert or similar. Nice work!

Here a barrage of pics from Disney's California Adventure and Disneyland.

Love all the shots you took! But its is my favorite one, would you please share your settings?? :)

Sure. :)

For this shot I went for exposure +2. This will let the shutter open longer, giving the water its silky smooth appearance.

However, this scene had a good amount of light in it. With the shutter open longer, too much light would have came in the sensor.
This can be fixed by using a lower ISO. I believe I used ISO 100 in that pic.

As for the scene, I use night mode, and if it's still too bright I switch to auto.

I hope this helps. :) I am no expert, but I sure am having fun taking all these pics.
