I have set a pin login for the lock screen. But still it asks for the password at the start screen. Pin login bug or am i missing something?

Works fine for me. Sometimes (usually on a location change) it seems to default back to password, but clicking the PIN logo works.

Pin as well as picture password is not working. I also tried changing the pin and restarting....Nothing works :crying:

PIN login works fine here on regular login screen. However, if I switch to the new login screen via the registry trick, my PIN login stops working, even after setting it multiple times. It always throws an error PIN incorrect. Only pw login works. On regular login screen everything works again.

did you switch to the new login screen by chance?

Able to add PIN in settings but option does not appear on the Log-in screen. Ouch, my password is way LONG.

With Windows 10 No Login PIN issue:
I am using most current version of Preview Windows 10 Pro 10.10159
Goto Setting -> Account -> Sign-In Options, make sure connected to Internet
Push "I forgot Pin" -> sign-in as requested, when requested to create new PIN, PRESS CANCEL - important.
Then open File Explorer Navigate to: C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\NGC
must be logged in as an Administrator - Delete everything within that folder
Go to Settings-> Accounts->Sign-in Options
Click Add a PIN again and set your PIN
PIN sign in should work going forward
Use Windows Key + L to lock terminal to test

Works fine!!!

OMG THANKS!! THaNKS A LOT! You're my saviour!!!! Confirmed working! Omg I'm so happy you saved my life! Thanks!

As an FYI:

I couldn't get access to the folder in the steps below (even as admin) for some reason, but the process still worked. On 10162, at least, it appears you don't need to worry about that folder....just omit that step.

I tried fixing it without deleting the contents of the folder, didn't work.
It only worked after I did exactly the same, including deleting the contents of the NGC folder.
Thank you very much for the help.
