Portable Charger

Went to use my go to portable charger today as my phone battery was very low but it would not charge the phone. I used the USB-C cable that came with the phone and put it in the socket on the charger that outputs 2amps but no sign of a charge so??.. Can Anyone recommend a portable charger that works with the 950XL that I can use in an emergency?

The Zendure and Anker QC 2.0 batteries I've tried work as expected.

Defective external charger and/or cable.
My Anker astro works like it used to with my 920
