Possible defective screen?

Holding the phone in portrait mode, I notice a tiny white ring with on the bottom left of the screen that doesn't seem to go away. It almost looks like a watermark. Has anyone. Had the same issue? I don't see it on the lock screen, or on some dark backgrounds.

I went back today and swapped out phones. The tiny circle was a defect. I think I sold the salesman in getting one himself.
