Best I could do with everything where it currently sits. Intake and exhaust ports are on a loose head under my workbench, the timing chain is via the distributor hole of an engine on a stand. It will also record video if needed. Edit: it seems Tapatalk messed up the attachments a bit. I don't see one of the ports. Those are two of the same port.

Front-mounted distributor? Can you say Ford? I'm guessing Windsor V-8 of mid 70s vintage.

Ask your granite top installer to install wood blocks on the underside of the top. He'll know what I'm talking about. Worst case scenario, he can core-drill two small holes and epoxy some 1/4" anchors. This is all assuming you're getting typical 1-3/8" thick tops. If you're getting the new-fangled 1/2" thick tops that simulate quartz then you have to put some form of brackets. Good luck.
They installed the countertops today, and gave me a metal bracket that goes under the counter and screws to the cabinets on either side (or wall in my case on one side). I have to install a filler strip on one side first, as the dishwasher opening is 25", and the bracket is for a standard 24" opening. Next up: painting the cabinets!

Don't mind the torn drywall paper that came off with the old countertop. That will be repaired and covered by the backsplash later on. I'd offer up an old banana, but my wife put them in smoothies this afternoon.

Blast from the past.
A mint condition Lumia 950. Unlock request from AT&T approved in 5 minutes. Two updates later it's been a fun few hours. I even put a spare SIM in it. If Microsoft makes the new Edge available this phone should be able to go for two more years no sweat.

I'd be very surprised if the new Edge browser ever hits these phones. Windows Mobile is dead, isn't it? I haven't checked my 640 in a while..

Replacing Microwave over cooktop.

Ordered 5 weeks ago from Lowes for the 10% veteran discount. Ordered for store pickup instead of free delivery because I figured a big box store is a little more particular about care in transit than a residential UPS or FedEx victim can expect. I may be changing my priorities.

First, the web dimensions of the carton were wrong. Published dimensions said it would fit in the passenger seat of my car. Actual dimensions meant it had to rest on top of the shifter making every gear change a painful challenge, compounded by the FIVE times distance home than to the Lowes (see reason 2).

Second, on my way home, the only entrance to my neighborhood was inaccessible for over 6 hours because of an extremely high speed runaway Tesla crash on the road near the entrance.

Anyway, below are pictures of the "box" and the microwave after unpacking but before de-badging. De-badging was a little more difficult than my recent dishwasher purchase. Badging was identical, but they used much stronger double-sided tape on the microwave. Any stronger and the stainless steel skin would have been warped prying them off.

Just got from Walmart. Needed a new storage drive since the 2TB was almost full. Was planning to get a 4TB one but found they had a 6TB one for 20 bucks more. Way more than I need for years since it took almost 8 years to fill the 2TB one but who knows...Since I will be using it as a personal cloud the fun now begins. Will need to transfer almost 2TB worth of files over to it
