Had to order an ethernet adapter because the wifi on my Lenovo IdeaCentre Stick 300 refuses to work. It's out of warranty so I can't get a replacement. Grrr.

Ya know, I've purchased three Lenovo IdeaCentre Sticks, and all three have developed this wifi issue. It just simply will not lock on. I can plug any one of them into the back of my TV less than two feet from my router and none of them will connect reliably. Every once in a while, I'll get a connection, but not regularly enough to use the things. Right now, all three are in a drawer. ☹️

Damn, that sucks worse than my situation, lol. The Lenovo community forums have plenty of people with the same problem. I tried updating the wifi drivers but that had zero affect.

You're not plugging it in right.

A sexy headphone cable. Balanced silver plated audio cable. Scientifically, silver, is the best conductor of electricity. Gonna give it a shot and hear how they sound.

Have you tried connecting wifi to a hotspot without a password/passcode/key? Does it even detect and see wifi networks in the area?

edit: if you can take it apart, maybe you can try reseating the wifi chip, AND also the wifi antenna cables.

New item...
Received in a damaged box :(

It does find and connect to my network. The max it connects at is like 900k...k........k :(

Haven't tried going password-less, though.
