Been so busy shaking down the x3 I feel like I'm neglecting another addition to the family. I picked up this Surface 3 for a ridiculous price ($125) because it was stuck on the dreaded automatic screen repair. A 2 minute BIOS tweak and a hard reset later I've found myself with a near mint 128GB Surface 3 with LTE and 4GB of RAM. The backlit Type Cover was a separate purchase though.

Thanks Laura, I wanted a purple Type Cover because I think they look the sharpest with the bare aluminum look of the Surface but the blue looks good too. Now just waiting on Ma Bell to send me the unlock code and I'm golden.

Now I'm good. Ma Bell sent me the unlock code this morning. Considering I put the request in Friday evening, this was very quick turnaround. For those that don't know, you don't have to pay someone to unlock your AT&T device. You just go to https://forums.windowscentral.com/e...3A%2F%2Fatt.com%2Fdeviceunlock&token=ZULgOPd6 and fill out the information (IMEI, etc.) and if the IMEI is clean and there's no open contract, you should see similar results.
