Post pictures of your latest purchase

Set up the phone & apps, and updated everything yesterday
Took it for a day out, after 11 hours of medium usage, the battery is down to 65%...

Good stuff. I have the trilogy in a single hard bound given to me in the 50's (IIRC). The end of innocence for all things governmental or political. Need to read it again after a 60 year gap.

Actually has been a couple of months, but a nicer replacement for the 'ol beat up FitBit Charge2:

Some new in ear headphones.
My first purchase at Massdrop.
I will test drive them with the new LG G8.

Ergonomically, it's not left a good first impression - especially without the case. But if the camera stills hit the mark, it'll be the weekend device for sure. IMG_20190511_101436.jpeg

Asus PN61 (not my pic), with 16GB DDR4-2400 ram, 1 TB sata SSD (2TB m.2 for data will be my next purchase). Sold my old desktop, and got this sweet puppy as a replacement, for my future offgrid solar lifestyle. Fastest 15TDP chipset out (Core i7-8565U). Does pretty well, faster CPU than my old AMD six core, and GPU while not as good as discreet GPU can game on lower resolutions (played through shadow of the tomb raider for eg). Pretty happy with it :)

Power in small sizes isn't cheap tho. And it's a little light on ports, so will need a USB c hub.

Also got a 43 inch LCD, LED backlit with powersaving (light level adjustment) for similar reasons.

So latest purchse.

Got tired of wimpy waffle makers so went all heavy duty. Waffle maker not my pic, end result is though! Waffles are vegan.

Damn son, that looks almost as good as bacon.
Ha! (Got the joke)

I haven't had waffles (or pancakes) with bacon since I left Canada 16 years ago. Just wasn't a thing outside North America. I think the UK has started though and I wouldn't be surprised to find it in Paris as the French love their meat.

So latest purchase. This is an aftermarket Bluetooth adapter for my 2008 BMW X3. It's specifically setup to connect to the CD changer cabling and since I don't have a CD changer it works for me. I just installed it and it's great! Volume and track skipping as well!

I'm quite happy it was an easy install.

So the first White 3a had some weird white balance issues on the OLED panel and I returned it to TMO.

And yesterday these showed up. So now I have to decide which one to keep.
