I thought it would be interesting to see what people have done with their devices, now that we can do at least a little bit of customization within WP7. I've seen some pretty smooth looking phones in YouTube videos and around the internet. I'm sure no two customized phones are the same.

Whether it be registry changes, accent customization, theme changes, or whatever, let's see what you've done!



I have mine below, I switch between the grayer shade of blue and the darker red. I can't decide which I like more.

You could just take pictures of your phone.


But if your phone isn't hacked, how is it customized?

That would be fine, too. I'm just more interested to see what people have done as far as making the phone unique now that we've found out how to hack it and change things that a stock WP7 phone can't.

It really isn't hard once you have an understanding of what registry keys change what aspects of the phone. If you'd like, message me when you get your other phone unlocked and I will help you with those keys and show you how you can change your accent colors manually through the registry.

Here is what I came up with. Its a little simple but i like it. I havent really messed around with other color schemes yet.

Being able to change the background color is awesome. Nice job. Makes me wonder why they won't all all users to do this.

Nice job, I really like the dark red over the slate color. Looks like your app names might be a bit hard to read though. Maybe try a lighter color?

lol.....I completely agree. Especially when my backlight is on low. BTW I really like the brown and tealish scheme that you have going on.

The only thing that they dont talk about is that when you do change the color codes that you need to keep the #FF or #DE depending on what you are changing. If you dont do this the theme will mess up.
