After using pictures for my start background for a few days after 8.1 update, I'm back to simple color tiles, it maked every thing look clean and simple, also looking for notificaions is much easier. Having pics on start background made my eyes hurt.

Mine arranged in groups. The extra column helps to have proxy header tiles...
