Power button lag.....

So frustrating.....!!! After Windows phone 8.1 gdr 1 update, the phone started to lag when I press the power button....(about 2-3 sec). My device is a Samsung ativ s.
Has anyone any idea why this is happening?

It's just loading your WP8.1 sometimes ... try doule tap to wake up your screen
