Printing annotated pdfs

So just yesterday I used my surface pro with the pen to take notes during an interview I was conducting. I was taking notes on a pdf file.
This morning when I printed the PDF file none of the notes I made on the file showed up.

On screen the notes are there but when I print it all I see is the unaltered document.

I was using the standard Reader app that came installed on the surface pro.

Similar experiences? Solutions? Any help at all is appreciated!

I'm not sure you can edit or add notes to free reader programs or applications of acrobat. I would probably print it to one note, write my notes, then print back to pdf if you have to have that form in the end.

Could try installing a desktop PDF reader and open it there. Any annotations saved should open. When you print from these theres usually an option to print with comments and annotations.
