Printing on Windows 10 Mobile

I am deciding between two printers, one Windows 10 Mobile currently supports and the other it doesn't. I have a couple questions.

1) Does anyone know if the amount of printers supported is/will grow?

2) If you have a printer already supported, how well does it work for you, do you find it a good feature, its it something you easily could live without if another printer was a better option?

I don't know much about mobile printing (I'm stuck in the days of ratchet Palm OS support and AirPrint or whatever Apple call last their solution..)
but I will say not to buy something based upon a "maybe"

If the printer isn't supported now, I'd be very cautious before taking the leap.
