problem backing up my SMS from Phone to PC

I just owned a Nokia Lumai 620. somehow, i needed to reset my phone to factory settings and wanted all my SMSs to be saved. Any suggestions.
Further more, i am not able to see my phone on my sky drive when i click the DEVICES option. i have also checked my back up options on my phone which have been turned ON.
Need an urgent reply plz.

Under settings | Backup | Text messages
If you have it turned on its backed up the cloud.
I have swapped 3 different phones and it has worked perfectly every time.
