Problem opening applications

Why when I open Weather application or Settings, or something else I get a dead screen (either blank or non responsive to a tap). If I wait longer and dont tap the screen the app will close. Second time will work. Is there an explanation for that?

The same thing happens to me. Edge is terrible too. Takes forever to load and most of the time bounces back to my home screen. I'm having alot of problems lately.
