Problem With Audio out/Microfone in surface rt

Hi,
I am currently using windows 8.1 preview on my surface rt.Iam experiencing audio out problem.Whenever i connect my headphones it doesnt recognize.Ya headfones work perfectly.This problem happened suddenly on 4th of oct. I didnt make a recovery usb.So i cant factory reset or refresh.I tried by deleting the driver and refreshing.No luck.ANd i even entered audio playback in the search box and tapped fix and find audio playback problems.It says the speaker headset or hheadphone is unplugged.what should i do?Should i wait until oct 18.Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Just want to know if you find how to fix this issue, I'm in the sam situation with my Surface RT, suddenly it doesn't recognize any headphones.
