Problem with Lumia 930 second microphone

I recently bought an L930 that came with W8.1 and I tested the 4 mics and they were running, so I upgraded to Windows 10 14393.448 Official Version Live-Voice and the audio recording in WhatsApp stopped running. This is not hardware, but software !!
I researched hard and saw that the Lumias 950 / 950XL also have the same 4 microphones and some of them are also having problems with those microphones.
I've tried everything, soft-reset, hard-reset, without backing up ....

I found an App in the official store that makes recording using the 4 microphones of the L930 / 950> Sound Recorder Hi-Res - https: //www.microsoft.com/en-u ...


I used this App> "www.microsoft.com/pt-br/store/p/sysapp-pusher/9wzdncrfhvls" to check if there was an audio / microphone driver missing for the L930.

Here in version 14393.448 is working normally connect and record video with the App "Camera". Maybe the Phone App does not support the 4 microphones.

Well, I HOPE to M $ correct the microphones in RedStone 2 Final, If a third-party app is able to power the 4 microphones, then only M $ needs to work so that it works again on all L930s.

hello, the problem is the firmware i have a lumia 930 i change the firmware to 02540.00019.15236.54008 wp 8.1 u1, when i update to wp10 the firmware change to 02540.00019.15236.45005 and the mic in whatsapp do not work, in wp 10 the mic works on cortana video recorder text voice and call do not work in whatsapp voice record whatsapp video or any app

I solved the issue by resetting thru windows/lumia recovery tool.after reset, update everything (apps and OS) then join insider program. I suggest u enable HEY CORTANA after ur reset. Also, i am in the INSIDER RELEASE PREVIEW program. Everything is fine on mu L930.

i have another problem .my l930 left channel is high but right channel record low.which microphone record right channel.

The problem with Lumia 930 microphones is only in case of HW revision 2.0.0.2 and higher.The microphones on the motherboard (HW revison 2.0.0.2, 2.0.0.3) are connected in a different way.If you have HW revision 2.0.0.1 and lower it supports all 4 microphones and they work in every aplication.Lumia Camera is not deciding as it uses the microphones in a specific way - it can stand for broken or not used microphone virtualy (with another microphone).
I have tested allready on many Lumia 930.

Hi, are you sure 2.0.0.1 is "safe" as well ? I did some deep digging on various international forums and found that also users with 2.0.0.1 had mic issues, only the 2.0.0.0 versions seems to stay free of these mic issues.

2.0.0.1 is ok, best HW revision.
