Noticed in the following post from mrmdj31675 that he calls out another user by his possible real name or name on another site. And he does it in another post earlier in the thread. Doesn't seem like he should be doing that. Checked the rules, but not sure if you would consider it a personal attack. Is it something he should be warned about, or is it a non-issue and just left alone? Thanks

If they are having problems with meeting current Qualcomm standards, how about Microsoft hire programmers with Qualcomm CDMA certifcations so they can meet a deadline with the FCC, All the OEMs, and especially the CDMA carriers (especially Sprint)? I want to see Techblogger aka Aaron from Technocove (and/or the writers at wpcentral) get to the bottom of it as he has been asked for over a year instead of constantly bash Sprint and the CDMA carriers for Microsoft's woes on Windows Phone not getting devices into the CDMA market, and why is taking them nearly TWO YEARS to meet a strong suggestion from the FCC to use Qualcomm over the current China Mobile based CDMA coding and encryption.

Looks like harassment.

Anyways, I've put a strongly highlighted mod edit in the post with Techblogger's real name removed.

I was waiting for a response from Dave or another mod before taking action. Not trying to palm it off on someone. Trying to find my mod balance here.

Generally, the mods will support you in your decisions but may give advice on how to approach it in future. If you're someone like me, you learn by doing (I'm a kinaesthetic learner). That's why I jump in. I'll keep getting better though.

I appreciate your enthusiasm. I like to err on the side of caution and don't want to be heavy handed unless it's called for.

Next time leave it go until we get a complaint. If the member called out in the thread doesn't like it he should report the post. Sometimes the best moderators are those that don't do anything. Moderate in moderation. Just so you new guys know I am not on much during the day. If something is urgent PM me or email me. I pop in throughout the day some days more than others but I have to feed the family so real work comes first.

I do like what you posted there Daniel it was handled professionally.

I hope it won't be long before most of these questions won't be necessary. And fully agree with the moderate in moderation adage.

What I've done when I was unsure if a post was ok or not was to unapprove it and send it to moderation. Then someone more experienced could deal with it.

Thanks. I am trying my best. Although I know next FND/nightclub I go to, avoid going to WPC on the browser (where moderator magic is available), and just use the BE/WPC app, as I can't do my magic there. Also, make a note to temporarily uninstall Ablaze (Campfire Now app).
