Hi, I haven't used the 950 or 950xl, they might take a few months to land in my country, but I was curious about the camera manual settings

How long can the exposure time be? ISO levels? My lumia 1020 can go up to 4seconds and 100-4000 ISO

Curious why you would need 10 seconds on a phone camera -- are you planning to use it on a tripod? Also the 950 has a f/1.9 lens (vs. the f/2.2 on the 1020) so you're going to have slightly higher exposure with the same shutter speed.

Well, when the lumia 1020 came out, people were really excited about the shutter speed. And then a year later, many users were hoping for a new phone with a longer exposure time, like 10s. Night star photography needs longer times as well as light painting.

S7, V10, and G5 all have 30 seconds and produce some killer star trails.

My only thought would be to use the photo stacking technique..... Mind you I believe the forum relating to the Proshot app has had this come up and the developer said it was a microsoft constraint of some sort
