Question about Nokia maps on my 920

Is there a way to clear search results after I have looked for something on Nokia maps? I'd like to clear my screen but do I really have to soft reset the phone for that?

Hmmm, a clear search results option would be nice, I reckon that IS a bit quirky. Ah well, can't have it all...

I've uninstalled Nokia maps for a few reasons with this being one of them. I just open local scout and tap the map to use Bing maps. I can search, use traffic, get a directions list & clear the map after I'm done. The only thing missing is the Bing navigation that is available in non-Nokia WP8 devices.

Speaking of local scout, I unpinned it from my start screen and now can't find it so as to use this app. Any suggestions as to where I can look?

Press the capacitive search button to open Bing. At the bottom of the screen is an icon for Scout.
