Question about the Lumia 735

If you are in Belgium, you might consider ordering your phone in Holland. I was told it was cheaper, check it out if you want most shops deliver in Belgium too.

the 830 is the better product. It has a better screen with greater viewing angles and sunlight readability that is miles better than the 730. It also has a better back camera and great build quality,glance and dolby digital recording and playback

AMOLED or IPS LCD is a subjective topic so lets not deviate.

@OP: Both the phones are great. The extra ?60 gives you a better and faster rear camera (FFC is a joke if selfies are important for you) and Glance + goodies (read around). Outside of that both phones are solid, the 73X touted as a mid range while the 830 as an affordable flagship

Okay, I'm going to attempt to answer this.
My advice is to wait for two more weeks, and see the price drops.

My bet is that the 830 will drop in price, while the 73x family holds its own.

After that happens, go for the 830 if Glance is such a deal-breaker. It's not supposed to be much more expensive than the 73x line.

No man. I was on the fence like this so I went to the nokia priority store and compared them. One salesman owned the 830 and the other a 730. the 730 has deeper blacks compared to the 830 but the 830's destroyed the 730's in almost all other aspects including sunlight readability and viewing angles.

Now I own an 830 and I am happy that I made the right decision

It is impossible for the 830 to "destroy" the screen of the "735" by any metric. 720p spread out over a smaller distance would always result in a better screen

Except the 735 screen is better. Specs or not, just looking at the screen on both hands, the Lumia 735 destroys the 830.

I can argue both ways, the 830's screen looks more natural. So...Lumia 830 destroys the 73x...see what I did there? Again it's a subjective topic, AMOLED vs IPS LCD
