Question regarding updates on Straight Talk

With the release of 8.1 coming soon, I was wondering how Pre-Paid carriers will push the update. Does anyone have an idea of how long it will take for them to release it, in comparison to other carriers?

Also, do other updates, from Nokia for example, push directly through the market? Or are they sent through the carrier?

Any updates will come from the carriers directly. In other words, if you're using an AT&T Lumia 920, updates will come from AT&T. With a Rogers 920, from Rogers and so forth.

Okay, what about an AT&T 1520 on Straight Talk?

Same thing. All updates that come to your AT&T 1520 will be from AT&T.
