Quick Charge 2.0 & DP?

I received my Quick Charge 2.0 charger from HTC yesterday but I don't see any difference on my M8. I have read that it might require a software (or firmware) update to work properly. Also that the charge light would be a different color, which I am not seeing. Any one have any experience with this?

well this article seems to confirm it- HTC M8 WP 8.1 cannot be quick charged :-(

Anyhow now you have a spare one but it would have been nice if HTC would have made it more clear.
