Random Haptic Feedback

My Lumia 730 is giving random haptic feedback. This is the second time in two weeks. The first time was two days after I got this device and the other today.

During this event the screen remains unresponsive and toggles between open app windows on its own. On both the occasions I have had to power down the device after which the device functions normally.

Please advise on what could be wrong and what should be done to rectify this issue.

This sounds like a flaw I had on my Lumia 1520. I never found a solution short of swapping it out. You might consider a hard reset. Also, I found that tapping the upper left corner repeatedly was enough to cause one of these episodes.

Sorry I'm new to smartphones.. What do you mean by swapping it out (do you mean exchanging the device?) and how is a hard reset done. Thanks!

Hard reset is holding down the power and volume down button.. This will wipe all your data so back up your pics and stuff.

By swapping out, I DO mean getting a new one.
