This morning I woke up after sleep tracking and was on my way to work when my band stopped turning on and would not respond. I had to grab my extra charger and plug it in. Dialogue when it comes alive says the battery died but my batteries were clearly not down and was around 75% when i plug it in.

THis is the second time this has happened.

ANyone else experiencing this?

Brings to question the band's reliability. I use it as my daily watch. Thanks.

I have seen numerous reports of this from the different forums I'm following on the Band 2. So far, I haven't seen anyone come up with a solution. I was going to purchase one of these for myself but for now, with the reports of problems of them shutting down, not starting up, and heart rate monitor issues, I'm going to hold off until after the first of the year to see if they get some of the bugs worked out.

Yes experienced the same thing ....i hope its somewhere a software bug that can be fixed or a once in a lifetime thing ....

Mine shuts off in the middle of the day after about a week into using it. I plugged it in and it came on, indicating that it ran out of battery. I charge it during dinner and morning shower and therefore the battery never ever dip below 80%. But then when I tried to reboot the device, it wouldn't reboot although the screen was responsive. Then I did a hard reset and that's when it turn black and would not come back on. Plugging it on and off the charger got the screen to come on (thought black screen) with the battery icon on the right, and a small tick (lined up with the mic, I think) blinking on the leftmost edge of the screen. The device would not turn on at all.

I went to the Microsoft Store today and got it exchanged.
