Rdio app updated... and broken!?

Earlier today the Rdio app for Windows Phone was updated, and supposedly brought WP8 compatibility and UI improvements, but, now it is completely broken for me. Anyone else experiencing problems?

After doing a phone soft reset and a mobile sync reset (on rdio.com) playback has now resumed. It's still not perfect, but plays *fairly* consistently.
