as I'm typing this...I hope it will fix the frozen windows logo for me to go to the start page and the none working apps that I have on my task bar.
I have done nothing to receive this build. Just came by itself.

Edit.: On the install it gives me an error>>>>>0xc1900107

So, is anyone else got that error?????????

Not the only one with that problem:

Maybe installing Windows or any Microsoft product, Bing! Would have been a better friend.

Still getting this error whenever I try to install from Windows Update...tried different fixes that have worked for others but no help? So showing build 10166...which works...but unable to go forward!
There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help:
• TH1 Professional 10240 - Error 0xc1900107

I was getting almost the same error, some one else suggested I try this and it worked. I have been erroring out on each build that came out and doing this each time allowed me to download it.

Reboot computer, then STOP the Windows Update service (right click on the start menu, Control Panel>Adminstrative tools>Services>Windows Update right click select STOP).

After this, then run Windows update, it will restart the service automatically and it allowed me to download it.

BIG UPDATE: yesterday the 29, I have received some updates and one of them was "net 3.5", pointing device which went through.
after that the task bar started working with the build 10122.
But the windows update could not installed the 10240..
So I went the route to install it from disk image and it worked..
