Recommend a good news app?

I just lol'ed to The Verge. Don't get me wrong I like that apple ****** site but the 3rd party app totally sucks.

I'm using the yahoo news app, straight forward and quick presentation of articles that are mainly Associated Press, can be refreshed easily, and fortunately you are spared the yahoo comments.

Assuming US centric audience.

My favorite is ZITE. its simple and clean. Weave was nice but generated a ton really quickly.

Been using Fuse, myself. I like it because all my RSS feeds are in Google Reader and this allowed me to log in to that directly.

Picked up the WPCentral app simply so I could check/update the forums while I'm out and about.

Surprisingly, Al Jazeera. Great live double wide tile, good summation of world events. I haven't yet found their news to be leaning one way or another, it's pretty straightforward.
