reinstall FB Messenger (build 1036)

I?m not able to reinstall the FB Messenger.
I had an issue with the messenger. So decided to uninstall an d reinstall it.
So I downloaded the messenger and the installation start.
But the installation don?t ends ? restoring user data ??. but no success
Same issue with the Facebook app ?
What can I do ? I could not stop the ?restoring user data? ?

I'm fraid that hard reset is only solution in such scenario...
