Release date for Windows Central Universal App?

I personally would bet on the release date to be on the same day as the general release of the new flagships or the official release of WM10. That would fit somehow...
Just curious, is there a beta for the app? Currently it's just a pain in the *** to use the website on Edge. One of the slowest websites EVER!

There's supposed to be a beta coming soon ? according to Daniel but they never gave a exact date
