Remove files from OneDrive?

I'm new to OneDrive. Frequently I get a warning message that "OneDrive needs your attention" and this issue is always something along the lines of "Remove files from OneDrive? You recently deleted 456 files from this device. Do you want to remove them from OneDrive too?"

This thing is that I don't seem to get any clue what it is that OneDrive actually wants to remove, and I know I haven't done anything to provoke it in the past few minutes anyhow, so I'm twitchy about allowing it to throw away files. Is there some way to actually understand what it wants to do?

I'm not sure what to make of that either. OneDrive has always confused me too. I didn't like the fact that when I set up OneDrive I had essentially triplicate files (for example a document in the documents section, One Drive, and then in the cloud), that I gave up on it and went to a different cloud solution.
