So I dropped my lumia 1020 and cracked most of the screen, still functions but will probably start looking into a new replacement soon. any recommendations to which lumia device I should upgrade to? I cant seem to decide if I want a 1520 the 930 or wait it out for a yet to be announced phone :|

1520 if you want best specs and like the size.
930 if you want a smaller screen.
If you choose to wait, you may be waiting till next year when Windows 10 launches.
Personally would get the 1520. It's a great phone ;)

930 in my opinion.

The raw size of the 1520 rules it out in my eyes. Despite the value of Glance and an IPS LCDisplay to me, I hold size above those.

However, the 1520 does have better battery life and an SD card slot.

I would probably be looking at the 830 though because of what I value.

that is my dilemma, I was considering the 1520 because of its 20MP sensor and faster image capture time, but the sheer size of it might make it unusable on a daily basis. the 830 just doesn't seem appealing to me :| and att isn't selling the 930 - gah

Order a new screen. That's what I did....There is nothing that compares to the 1020. I love the size, performance and camera too much to ditch it. I'm hopeful that MS will release a 1020 successor as it is a great device with a cult like following.

You could always buy it unlocked and go prepaid or something.
People use Nexus phones and (until now) they were not sold by ATT
