resuming after unlock BUG

Ohh, I see. In that case, the 640 would be great, or even better, the 830.

I picked up a 640 this afternoon and I'm replying from it right now. It's a much better handset than the 550, it's faster, feels better in the hand and I haven't seen a "resuming" yet. If anyone is undecided between a 550 and 640, it's an easy decision.

Lumia 640 and Lumia 550 is not in same range of phones, just not to be real for compare this two devices. 640 is much more expensive than 550.

550 is perfect balance between price and quality, durability, reliability... and is deserves to forgot a few fault at beginning.

When price is considered then yes, you're right. I'm sure MS will iron the bugs out with updates.

I had a substitute of the first. I coudn't replicate manually the problem with this second handset.
I didn't touch it with USB cables and new firmwares like I did with the first faulty one.

It is running .107 and stock firmware AFAIK.

I can't say I didn't see the resuming though. Simply that I can't replicate manually it. It happened like 3 times in 2 weeks, after pretty major overhauls, like:
- creating the Kid corner account.

So far the 550 can't be said "immune" with this, at least with .107 build. But with the faulty one I could unlock it 3-6 times in succession and it went nuts. This can't happen with this new device.

I do hope that .122 will iron out the thing, though. They've worked on the reliability of the Start screen, changelog says. Hoping for the best. 99% reliability is good, but 100% would be better.

I saw 3 in total in a good 3 weeks, only doing something deeper before. Can't say if it's hw or sw related. The previous had 3 in one minute.

I had the same problem with my lumia 950 for several months. I eventually removed the sd card it it seems to have fixed it!
