Return to start screen

How do I get my desktop PC to return to Start Screen when I close a program? I un-checked the box "When I sign in or close all apps on a screen, go to desktop instead of Start" in Navigation and Settings but it still returns to the desktop when I close a program, which is very inconvenient.

go to desktop/taskbar properties/taskbar/un-tick Show windows store apps on taskbar :smile:

I had the same question, unchecked the box, and certain apps still drop you to the desktop. awful! How about the "peek..." checkbox that is just below that? What does it do?
