Actually, under extras info in my phone it has a carrier ID as 000-TH even though my phone is unlocked and has no carrier branding that is visible. So, it might just be a way of identifying units sold in different areas for tracking purposes.

Haven't installed it yet...it hasn't showed up for me.

I mean with the flash program. My phone came with a personalized carrier italian rom. So I flashed a non-carrier UK Rom.
What I don't know is if the North african rom that has showed up is a carrier rom or not

Oh hmmm okay...no idea there. My phone came unlocked and all I have done is a few hard resets. The screenshot only shows the top few lines, if you look at the scroll bar it's very thin so maybe there's a lot of different ROMs online? I thought that only Europe and the USA had carrier branded phones. In Thailand everything is unlocked and unbranded.

I'm in Austria and just flashed my white unlocked 920 with this one:
059R4H0: RM-821_Orange_CH_VAR260471_12491_001_v2_White

No issues - went flawlessly.
In Info-Settings "Orange-Switzerland" is shown as mobile operator but I dont mind.
