Rotation lock is poorly implemented

"You guys must be holding your phones wrong"
:straight:

there's always a person who says an issue that everyone has is non existent and you all must be doing something wrong.
Post a clip on You Tube or it didn't happen

They made an unfair comparison. Windows 8 runs full desktop software, so it of course it's better than a mobile OS. Windows RT, however, despite being more functional, lacks enough apps to cause a few laughs at the moment (though its getting better).

I've jailbroken my ipad mini just to fix a yellow hue the screen has by correcting color balance. It was is my first apple device and if I'll ever buy another one I'll never buy a selaed one again, only an unboxed one so I'll be able to check the screen. /offtopic

GDR 3 on Lumia 920.
I have set the autoroate screen to Off, and locked the current orientation to portrait mode.
Now when i go to settings->system>about
the screen changes to landscape/portrait mode depending upon how you hold it. (even though, in the settings, the orientation is still in locked locked mode).
I have observed this behavior only in "about" screen so far.

Rotate lock does not work with inbox, internet explorer nor in in the 920. WTF!

I'm not having any problems here with any of the aforementioned apps, using a black AT&T 1020.

Running GDR3 + Amber (obviously).
