rs1 11082 Fingerprint Reader Missing at Login

I am unable to use the fingerprint reader to log in to my Surface Pro 3 (with Pro 4 type cover/fingerprint reader). The reader works when I go to Windows Hello setup in sign-in options. At login, the option is now missing on the first Redstone TP.

Before I submit feedback, I'm curious whether anyone else has this problem?

Yes, I have the same problem with the same hardware (SP3 with SP4 typecover w/ fingerprint reader).

I'm also having FPR issues, on my Lenovo X230, since the 11082 update. Windows Hello allows me to delete/re-register fingerprints, but the option to login with FP isn't there; and the Windows Biometric service doesn't start until I go into Hello and start registering a new fingerprint.

All was working fine pre 11082. Glad to hear if there's any resolution!

Same here with Lenovo X1 Carbon 3rd gen.

And same with an HP Probook 6470b; prior builds had the FP reader working fine. I've tried various driver changes and all the usual gook. registers my FP, but option does not appear at log in. Ho hum...next build?

Same issue with a Toshiba R940 Notebook. Up to 11082 all went fine
