RT 8.1 USB not charging

Alright, so when my Surface RT was on Windows 8, the USB would charge my electronics, like my cell phone and Xbox Controller. Now that it's on Windows 8.1 Preview, it stopped doing so. I know that 8.1 is coming out soon, but in-case it doesn't fix the issue, has anyone found a way to re-enable the lost feature?

That sounds bizarre - mine didn't stop when I put 8.1 on it. I haven't seen any setting to turn it off. Maybe try a re-install?

No problem with mine on both Preview and RTM.

How do you install Windows 8 onto a Surface RT tablet?

I never have had issues doing that other than charging being slower than molasses.

And mms-pc, he is talking about Windows 8 RT.

Sorry, yeah, meant Windows 8.1 RT Preview, and odd, would re-install, but yeah, 8.1 RT comes out of preview in more than a week, hopefully when it does go live it'll fix the issue, hopefully I can live until then, heh. Guess now I know why I couldn't find anything when searching for a solution.
