Running phone on only 3g

Is there a way to limit my L925 to only use 3g? I'm thinking about getting the 930 but since I'm in ATT in the states I will not be able to get the 4g/LTE so I wanted to test this out to see how much I would be affected.

Go to Settings > Mobile + SIM > then change highest connection speed to 3G.

Only 3G or maximum 3G? Do you still want to use 2G bands? If you want to use only 3G bands nothing lower or higher than you can't do it through the settings app.
