Rupee Currency Symbol not available

Hello,

I recently purchased Lumia 640 XL Dual Sim from Flipkart. I installed all the necessary and available system updates. But still in the keyboard the rupee symbol is not shown. Instead UK symbol is displayed. In the settings, I have used language as English(India) and Region as India. Still its not showing

Please help me out to get the rupee currency symbol in the keyboard.

Note: I had initially selected UK as Region when setting up of phone initially. After all kind of updates I changed to India. Is this an issue? If so what should be done to get rupee symbol.

Resetting the phone and selecting the language as English solved the problem.
