Safe to do factory reset after unlocking?

Hi Folks, I've just had a 920 that I bought secondhand unlocked.
It has a few bits on it from the previous user so I'd like to factory reset so I can start with a clean slate.
Question is - will this undo the unlocking? As it cost a fair bit to unlock I'm a bit wary.

If you have the unlock code you can just type ##7820# in the dialer (hit call I think) and unlock it again.

Usually the unlock goes when you use the Software Recovery Tool and not hard resetting. But I could be wrong.

Should be fine but YMMV. I've done it many times even flash with the Software Recovery Tool and its stayed unlock.

It stays unlocked no matter what.
