Saving Appointment to a Specific Google Calendar?

I was able to force the upgrade to Mango (YEA!) and perform the workaround to allow multiple Google calendars to sync (YEA!) but I seem to have found a hiccup in the setup. While my Google calendars all sync with my WP7, when I add a new event, I can only add it to the default Google calendar. Am I missing something or is this just not possible in its current state?

I haven't tried this with multiple Live calendars, as I don't really use them. Can someone who does let me know if the same issue exists with them? Thanks.

If I add an appointment to a calendar other than the default, I also end up with one on my default. So I end up with two. I cannot get it to work properly.
