SB2 connection of video and audio to VGA Projector

Just purchased a SB2 and I can see that a USB-c to VGA adaptor would allow connection to a projector re video but how to I get audio to the projector. My understanding is that the USB-C doesnt carry audio? No separate audio in on projector so needs to be carried via VGA cable. Appreciate any help.
