Screen Darkness

Well I just received a new replacement Icon as the call quality on old was terrible, faded in and out constantly. Anyway the new replacement phone works great but on the screen it seems to be slightly darker (almost like a shadow) running down the right side. It goes down the entire side and is about 1/8" wide. I don't believe I saw this on the 928 but it was a different screen, correct? Is this the normal lighting pattern?
