Screen locks during phone call

I know this has been asked once long time ago, but i don't know how to find it here to see if it has been resolved

This started after the previous update on DP. Whenever I'm on phone my screen gets locked after 10-15sec even if I'm talking on speaker (proximity sensor is not closed). I hate it, especially if I'm calling xyz customer service where I have to press bunch of numbers, or simply end call I need to unlock phone first.
Anybody knows how to "revert" its old behavior?

Yeah that must've been a long time ago indeed. This is completely unknown to me at least. Try to keep the screen on longer in the settings. That'll work at least

no.... a big NO.. its not happing with me m using a developer preview. m not facing any such problem
and if u r facing such problem then its probably due to DP. sometimes it happens according to handsets in use

I'm not the only one with this issue, but maybe not everyone has it

I have 8.1. DP on my Icon with latest updates.

My issue is that when the screen is locked and a call comes in, the screen shows the incoming call interface, but when I answer the call the screen lock kicks back in. Very annoying because it takes a few seconds for the screen to unlock using the side-button, and I can't therefore change call options such as speaker phone or Bluetooth.

Shouldn't the phone automatically unlock the screen on incoming calls?

I recall there being some issues on earlier WP's with the proximity sensor that locks the screen when you hold it to your ear. Dunno if this is related.
Any suggestions for fixing this behavior?
