When I connect my 950XL to my Sony STR-DNS860 I am able to connect, however no video or audio gets transmitted to the Sony A/V unit.
The 950XL displays a message informing that a firmware update may be needed for Continuum to work properly.
My Amp has the latest firmware and my 950XL is running 10.0.14977.1000.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, as my phone got blown away by a beat up three year old Samsung last night that was able to stream Karaoke at our New Years Eve party to my A/V system.

you're using the ms dock or something else to connect?

And isn't 14977 a slow ring build?

The 950XL connects to the A/V unit through the Wi-Fi Network which the amp is also connected to.
There is also a BT connection which works well for streaming audio only, but my goal is to mirror A/V wirelessly from the 950Xl to the Sony.

this is a bit out of my field - don't have much experience with screens and peripherals

Mabe they are just not compatible? Sony isn't always that great - I have a TV at home to which 3 different sony phones couldn't connect to :grincry:
