Screenprint/Screencap editing app

I just noticed that after I access/view a screenprint taken on my 1020, the edit button only allows default actions (rotate/crop/fix) and doesn't allow access to photo editing software (like the numerous Camera apps do). Is this a limitation on the apps needing to add the screenprint API to their feature set or is this a case of the screenprint feature not allowing access to apps from the settings menu? Or does anyone have an app they can recommend that can edit screencaps?

I also wondered before for this type of app. The best I can find is Aviary photo editor, you can add text and draw stuff on your photos/screencaps. Do tell if you find better ones
